Who We Are

We are chartered by the State of Illinois as a Not For Profit 501c

North Central Search and Rescue is a fully volunteer organization which is dedicated to providing professionally trained K-9 search and rescue teams.

Our services are provided to aid qualified agencies, such as police and fire departments.

Our services are used to assist in::

  • Tracking/Trailing
  • Open area searches for lost person(s)
  • Remains/Cadaver detection
  • Evidence Recovery
  • Building Searches
  • Disaster Searches

Our teams and services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to any civil service department in the Midwest.

We are also available for immediate and special circumstances, and willing to travel to any part in the United States and abroad.

NCSAR is available for demonstrations upon request.

 


MISSION STATEMENT

 

To go where requested, to work with integrity, to serve with distinction, to help those in need.

NCSAR K-9 teams train in all weather conditions and terrains at locations
throughout the North Central Illinois region.

Dog and handler teams are prepared to travel to any scene, and
when required, will stay for an extended period of time.
